The vast tribe of the north holds many homes and villages within its large, protective wall, all of which are made of the snow that forever falls on the land. Large streams are used as roads for the boats and canoes, totem poles of ancient animals or spirits are posted at every corner on the sidewalks. The long and steep snowy steps leading towards the cheif's mighty temple. Hiding behind the temple is a warm green oasis and the source of the city's streams od water. In the midst of the lush grass, dance the two spirits of Ocean and Moon, Tui and La.
Broken, empty, bare. Nothing but tents and a single campfire remain inside the pathetic walls of Katara's and Sokka's home village. Destroyed by the cruelness of the Fire Nation, it seems as if hope was taken away from all who stay left behind, only elderly women and young kids.
Vines gripping around the limbs of endless trees, murky water that forever quenches the trees' thrist. With strange beats and grotesquely large bugs. The Swamp Tribe is nothing but one big forest with the most bizarre belongings inside its home.
The Southern Kingdom
The area of the south is a large area of both swamp and desert. The great city of Omashu (2A) and the other cites of the desert reside in. As well as the hometown of the Blind Bandit, Toph (2B). As the desert spreads over many cities and mountains, giving a more dry and hot environment, the swamp land protects the cites nearby with fields of grass and cool, breezy days.
Omashu (New Ozai) (2A)
The once earth metropolis, Omashu, was filled with homes, the world's best mailing system, temples. All of it was made of the city's natural element, Earth. Until the confused day of when their king, Bumi, surrenddered to a fleet of the Fire Nation. He gave up with a snort and no fight. Now Omashu is under major repairs from a city made of earth, to a fortress made of smelted steel.
