I'm looking for another site with The Last Airbender stills and leaks, but so far thelastairbenderfilm.com has been our best bet.

Aw man! The first 2 realead photo's looked alright, so I thought I'd give the movie a chance. But seeing these pictures just dissapoints me again.
Those fire nation costumes are horrible, there's barely any red, the helmets look like they're from Lord of the Rings, there aren't any pointy shoulders. Ugh wrong wrong wrong!

If it looked just like the cartoon then there would be no point of watching it. It's an interpretation of an animated series. It won't be the exact story, the characters will look a little different, it's inevitable and necessary.

Well I like what ive seen so far. At least the Avatar movie wont be as bad as the live action Dragon Ball movie was. DBE's script was horrible it had nothing to do with the orginal story line and 20th century fox rushed its production and then didnt promote it. As a concequence it flopped in the box office. Hopfully The Last Airbender wont make the same mistakes.

Are you kidding? The DragonBall movie was cool! Sure, I don't see Chi Chi throwing a party, and I don't see Goku going to school. But, they had young Goku's personality dead on. He didn't think before he acted, he just sort of reacted. Master Roshi was still a pervert (yes... ), Piccolo was a bad guy, and they had Grandpa Gohan! Sure, they could have done more with it, but, they definitely made it with DragonBall fans in mind. For further discussion of this, please go here:

Wow, love the thread! Every time I see screenies of the movie it makes me wanna see it more and more.

Well my computer is on its way to recovery! And once it is, I hope to make a movie section on it so we can add pics and info just like this for all the movie-hungry fans out there.

Somewhat... but I'm beginning to notice all the arguments now are just filled with ragey grade school language and complaints. There's only a few I've seen to still be somewhat legit. Guess they realized that Noah looks so much like Aang they know they'd be contradicting themselves.

Zuko's helmet in all likelyhood.

Also on the scar comment, it can't be too ridiculous a scar. This movie, like the Star Trek movie, the superhero movies, etc, is trying to make these fictional worlds "realistic." Zuko's scar is pretty out there, and is probably frightening for kids to see on a real person as opposed to a cartoon character.

They (the firenation) mainly used spears, didn't they? Though their main weapon will of course be the firebending.
