Since the Avatar Cycle goes air, water, earth, fire, and then starts over again, does that mean the very first Avatar was an airbender?

Hmmm, very interesting question. I've never even thought of that before actually. I've always wondered how the Avatar Cycle is going to continue with the Air Nomads wiped out.

Your wrong avatar skipper. The cycle is warter, earth, fire, then air. And as for the emberspirit, anyone born in one of the 4 airtemples will be born an airbender.
