Isen grunted and fell off the couch, he looked outside and was surprised to see how late it was.

Katara remained asleep. she was snoring loudly, and all she did was roll over.


[oh yeh, and Mijuu, as far as I know, yes, I think this is an open RP. you'll have to ask kruddthebarbarian to make sure though.]

Isen started to make dinner.

Katara eventually woke up.
~Katara~

"Ah I see you're awake."

Isen was stirring a pot, it smelt very spicey.

[Tera253]

"yeah," Katara replied, "I'm awake."

she glanced around for the nearest container and then spit. She still looked very groggy, and hadn't even gotten dressed yet.

[Fire away, as long as she isn't naked.]

Isen was looking at what she's wearing and cocked an eyebrow.

"I see."

[Tera253]

[she's not. She's just got her shirt undone slightly lower than usual [it doesn't show any extra skin] and isn't wearing her boots. she has underclothes on underneath of course, and you can't see much of them]

Katara shrugged.
"yeah, that's about how it rolls."

"Really?"

Isen started to add his special ingredients.

"yep," Katara shrugged, "it's how I am."
~Katara~

[Zhaaral]

"Interesting. You have really nice eyes."

[Tera253]

"thanks," Katara replied. She has always liked the golden color of her firebender eyes, but she never really brought that up unless the subject came.

~Katara~

[Zhaaral]

"Dinner is almost ready, it just needs to simmer a little."

He lead her to the table.

"'kay," Katara replied, and she sat down.

[Zhaaral]

A few minuted later, Isen returned with a large pot.

"It's curry."

[Tera253]

"'Kay," Katara replied, shrugging again.

~Katara~

[Zhaaral]

He serves the curry. And he starts eating.

"What do you think?"

[Tera253]

"not bad," Katara shrugged, as this was her usual answer to things. she seemed satisfied with it either way.

[Zhaaral]

Isen looked at Katara and looked away quickly.

"Do I look like a hobo to you?"

[Isen kinda looks like this minus the glasses and he has black hair.]

"no," Katara replied bluntly.
"why do you ask?

"I had a bit of trouble with a few travellers."

Isen cracked his neck.

"No matter how many times I told them that I was a missionary they kept on thinking that because I'm a druid I'm apparently a hobo. Fucking annoying if you ask me."

[Tera253]

"people thinking you're one thing because you're another,eh?" Katara remarked, "sounds like my field.
it's why people think I'm a freak."
~Katara~

[Zhaaral]

"You're no freak, you're very gifted."

Isen straightened his collar.

"Do you want to know how I got the job as a missionary?"

[Tera253]

"sure, I guess," Katara replied, deciding to straighten her clothes for the day
"why is that?"

[Zhaaral]

"You are an amazing firebender, don't let people drag you down."

"Anyway, how I got the job was because of my great people skills, despite being introverted and being a total sociophobe, I managed to get the job, dunno how, I was actually applying for mercenary. What I have to do is go to all the different nations and help out people who need it. Like if a village's crops have died, I'll provide food, if a village's buildings have crumbled I provide shelter. That sort of thing."

Isen dished up some more curry.
