Chapter One: The Adventure Begins!
A personal letter from Gym Leader Pierce, to all the new graduates of Pin Point Poke-Academy
"Your journey of becoming the nations, and perhaps the world's, ultimate Pokemon trainer is soon to begin! Whether it be in battle, research, or breeding, you'll discover, explore, and learn many great things on this island we live on! On your journey, you'll meet and tag along with many greats friends, and even battle against wicked rivals or criminals. But I'm sure that you and your Pokemon will grow a strong bond, and get through any situation together!
But before you begin your journey around the island, you first need a Pokemon! I'm excellent friends with a Professor in your town, Prof. Yew. I've been talking with him lately, and he has told me that he has a large collection of Pokemon to give out to new trainers! Like most things he does though, it comes with a catch. In order to obtain one of his Pokemon, he'll request a mission from you that you can complete on your journey.
In order to see him, you'll need to talk to my little brother, Pryce. He lives in one of the top rooms in your apartment building in Soul Sky City. He has plan to visit Prof. Yew as well to obtain a Pokemon, so if you see him, ask if you can tag along!
Anyways, since you are now graduating from Pokemon Academy, you'll have the ability to take of Gym Leaders. Maybe if you're strong enough, you'll come challenge and beat me! Heh-heh. I'd love to see that happen!
Go forth, new graduates, and grasp the full power of the bond between you and your Pokemon!
-Leader Pierce"

Roleplaying System:
Spoiler: show
Introduction:
This RP will mainly focus on the element of plot. We, the GMs, discussed about making an accurate and usable battling, catching, and leveling up method, but we came to the conclusion that such calculations and notes get easily get confusing and boring after a while. So we've thrown away all our ideas, and finalized the idea of making this RP depend on its story plot and its players ability to create battle scenes, character developments, and much more. We demand that all players read the following information about all of this RP, for all that you will read will effect how the RP will be played, and your playing experience.
Battling:
Because of no system, the winners of a battle will be decided by the GMs, or by the players if they meet and easy and quick mutual agreement. When battling an NPC, godmodding and making your character all-powerful is simply forbidden.
Example of a poor battle: Player 1 order Piplup to use Water Gun on enemy Pikachu. Miraculously, Pikachu fainted from the one attack despite it being not very effective!
Example of a good battle: Player 1 order Piplup to use Water Gun on enemy Pikachu. Unfortunately, enemy Pikachu seemed untouched and fought back with a small bolt of lightning, knocking the Piplup down.
Any players convicted of making their character have no losses with be told to leave the RP. Also, any GM has complete control over all characters. GMs are allowed to control the outcome of a battle, but only with reasonable cause. And all type effectiveness must be recognized as well, failure to do so will result in a warning or a banning from the RP.
Catching:
Same as above, make sure your character isn't perfect and can catch every single Pokemon he/she sees with a simple Pokeball. If a player is caught of doing so, they will be told to leave. Full-health catching isn't allowed at all, a battle and harm to the wild Pokemon must been written about before the attempt to capture it.
Leveling Up/Evolution:
Without a leveling up system, evolution and experience will be determined at what gym the player is at. Because all starter Pokemon evolve into their second form at level 16, it would seem the most logical and reasonable for their starter Pokemon to evolve sometime AFTER the first Gym Leader (Both of his Pokemon are level 15). Any Pokemon with special evolution (Happiness, trading, etc.) will be handled as listed below:
Happiness: GMs will decide
Trading: Trading Pokemon, then trading back, just to get a certain Pokemon is not allowed. Once you trade, you must wait a while to get it back
Trading w/ Held Item: The held item will be ignored, but same rules apply for above
Leveling Up w/ Held Item: GMs will decide
Leveling Up via Location: GMs will decide
Level Up w/ Certain Move: GMs will decide
Evolution Stones: These can be bought at the Metropolis Mall
Mantyke Evolution: Player must also have a Remoraid in their party
Feebas Evolution: GMs will decide
Combee Evolution: Can only evolve when it is a female
Nicada Evolution: If players have room in their party, a Shedinja will appear when Nicada evolves into Ninjask
Tyrogue Evolution: Players will decide when Tyrogue reaches the proper level (21)
Burmy Evolution: Must be female to evolve, and players decide when Burmy reaches the proper level (20)
Legendaries and Event Pokemon:
Due to fairness, special, powerful, and legendary Pokemon are forbidden to catch unless with given permission from the GMs. Instead, these Pokemon will be given away as rewards and gifts for various accomplishments and tasks.
