Fanfics about different(Not Avatar) series.

I just wanted to ask if you can post fanfictions about different series (Ex, Percy Jackson and the Olympians or Harry Potter) and if so, where?

P.s: can anyone reccomend a good Percy Jackson and the Olympians fansite for posting fanfics? (besides FanFiction.net, I HATE it.
