RP-ERS WANTED

Well.. the title says enough.

I made this thread for RPG mods who are looking for more active RP-ers and for the convenience of those who wish to RP but don't know where to look at.

However there are some rules that apply in this thread (yes even here are rules...)

I'll list them up, in your wanted ad must be:

If it is an Avatar or non-avatar related RPG
The name of your RP [doh]
Why you need RP-ers (just saying 'I need them 'cuz otherwise I can't RP is not enough).
Eventual rules ppl should know before joining.
A summary of your RPG
Spamming your RP in this thread is NOT allowed, only [b:

]one post per RP is allowed. More posts about the same RP will be deleted. Questions about a certain RP should be asked in an already existing side-thread about the RP or through PM.

So... go and promote your RP!

Okay I'll start:

Kind of RP: Avatar related
Name: So it begins...

Why? Well, first of all we want to give more people the opportunity to roleplay ;) Plus that it would be nice to have more characters to help the story line keep alive and quit dying all the time. It also might be a good practice/experience for people who want to learn how to become better in RP-ing ;)

Short summary: It is 100 years after the first war, twelve years ago Aang was murdered by the new Firelord and a young girl was born into the southern water tribe. the fire nation then raided and destroyed the Southern Water Tribe, so this girl could not stay there. She was sent to the outskirts of the northern water tribe where a man found and adopted her. Her name was Kirima, the new avatar - even though nobody knew about this. She now travels with her brother and her dad's friend Cpt. Pooru and some new friends they met along the way as they try to save the world from chaos and destruction from both the Fire Nation and the spirit world.

Visions were given to certain people that gave them a warning. there were and will be deaths and sacrifices. A clear sign that this isn't merely the work of just humans...

Some rules one should know:
Ofcourse you'll find all rules in the first post of the 'so it begins' thread. Some of the most important rules are:

Read the first post (prologue, other rules, etc)
Keep in mind that this is an RP [b:

]with a storyline. That means that you cannot just go and make up things that are against the story line.

All characters in this RPG [b:

]can be killed off by the RP-mod (me).

EDIT:

btw, you don't have to read the whole thread to join - just the first post - it is more realistic for your character if you don't know what happened before all this.

Name: Broken Peace

Why? There aren't a large amount of players at the moment and the storyline isn't very defined yet. [plus it keeps dieing]

Short Summary: The story takes place a few years after the avatar line has died out. The four nations have united but a group called the Xao wish to destroy the peace. The spirits, in defense have created not one, but six new avatars to stop the growing war.

May I add that too many new RPs are springing up and the old ones lose momentum and die and the new ones don't last long either.

is this the place where I can find a good RP to join?
I mean, I don't want to start mky own (too lazy to try and come up with a storyline) but if Ithere's an RP going, I can be active, since I'm able to get on just about during any time of the day, 12AM-6AM (my time) included.

The Break the Ice RP is pretty active.
And if you want to use Sanaki as a character she definately has a purpose. She could be a fire nation spy posing as a refugee. Though she can't use her firebending to fight just yet. She needs to pose a helpless girl for now, till Laea and Wolfheart make their move.

Also, there's a big RP coming up, which you might be able to join.
Though you need to sign up for a nation first. Choose wisely. ;)

Why you need RP-ers: I need RPers so that I can have a good staff. My site is just starting up, and I need people to help it get going.

Eventual rules ppl should know before joining.
Basically, be polite. There will be a "romance" board for stuff that goes above PG, so keep it clean. Also, there is a list of punishments included, so you know what violations warrant what punishment.

A summary of your RPG
It's pretty much a free-standing RP. Canon characters are adoptable, but RPers can make their own OCs. Right now, I want to kindof go with the flow. If a good plotline comes up, or if I think of a spectacular plotline, it will become the major plot. Until then, it'll be developed by the RPers.

The OC rules are pretty well outlined. I do am more lenient in what characters I approve. Most RPs don't allow redheads, blondes, etc, but I do.

well i'm not promoting i'm looking to join. but i can't find anything interesting that's active and new. so will i be rejected if i make a new RP?

Probably not, but, like most things, it kind of depends on what you make. You are more than welcome to make a new RP, but there is no guarantee that players will join (though we probably will).

yeah... Marrrik, me, and couple of others are like AP's official Role-Playing Crew. There's a good chance that if something is interesting, we'll join it in one way or another.
