Book One: Air

Postby dontevenworryaboutit » Tue Apr 24, 2012 8:32 pm

a thread for the first season of the Legend of Korra.

So I'm still one of the few people who believe that their are still other airbenders besides Tenzin, Jinora, Ikki, and Meelo out there. And i think if there are, we will find them in this season of the Legend of Korra. But hey, that could just be me.

It's been confirmed many-a-time that those are the only Airbenders that exist in Korra's time (except perhaps the inutero character)...

What about the re-population of the flying bison or the lemur-bats?
There had to have been some kind of air-nomads still in existence, even if they were non-benders...

No.
The Air Bison and the Flying Lemurs were found during Aang's travels over the course of his lifetime.

Momo existed without Airbenders. He /had/ to have some sort of family, or else he'd be about 100 years old. They existed, and they existed without the Air Nomads.

All I'm saying is that you can't wipe out an entire race. If you look at the Mayans and the Icans, they were "wiped out", but people today still claim to have lineage from them. Some airbenders could have escaped and been in hiding. No one thought the Sun Warriors were still around, but sure enough they were. I just can't believe that there are only 4 airbenders in existence.....

I've thought about Tenzin's siblings. What if they have kids and pass on airbending even though it skipped them. It may be possible..
